The price is very reasonable and made it worthwhile to keep our belongings in storage while we go abroad. Also, you know you're dealing with good people when the owner has to move his skateboard box out of your storage unit and takes a moment to appreciate the old boards that I was storing. We had great experience with Reliable Moving and Storage. They were flexible for our moving date that we had to change to fit with our closing date of our new house. The moving team were quick, experienced and very professional. We had two trucks with 6 men, all were great and handled our belongings with care. We had a few stops and some of the furniture are large/heavy items. We would recommend these guys to our friends if they need movers.

I was hesitant at first as I found them online but Alston responded to my move request so quickly, walked through the moving process so thoroughly and wanted to get as much detail as he could so we were both on the same page.I’m sure you could find a cheaper company to work with but I would gladly pay a bit more for a reliable team with a good attitude than pay less and have to deal with damage and bad attitudes when moving is already stressful. Alston and his team are a pleasure to work with and I’ve now used them for multiple residential moves and a commercial move.The only time we encountered a problem was when I didn’t give him enough details and changed plans on him last minute and he was still accommodating and his team didn’t make a fuss. Our move was a short one, "just" 2km down the road. Reliable Moving was the only company that actually came to look at the place before providing a quote. Alston - the owner of the company - came himself and was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable.His quote was on the high side of all the quotes we received with 6 to 8h estimated for the move with 4 people compared to others that would give an estimate of 2 people just over the phone.It turned out that the crew of Reliable Moving was busy for just over 7h confirming that Alston's estimate was very accurate (and I don't want to think about how the other companies that would have come with 2 people would have managed). And besides their well deserved breaks, the crew was working hard. The crew - Alston + 3 further team members - again were very friendly, professional and thorough in their work. All items arrived without damage and were carefully placed into any room at the destination. Once they were done, there was no damage to or dirt in the destination.All in all I can fully recommend Reliable Moving. They may not be the cheapest but definitely you get value for the money and you can rely on their estimates as well as the quality of their work, i.e. things will be properly packed and arrive in the same condition as they left the old place. Overall a stress and hassle free experience!

I have had some AWFUL experiences with movers in the past, even one that was essentially an extortionist... but Reliable Moving was definitely not one of those! These guys were absolutely, hands down, the BEST, most professional, friendly, well prepared, efficient, helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating movers I have ever experienced. I was very impressed with their diligence and care taken to ensure that everything arrived at my new home undamaged. First, they arrived early!!! Unheard of with movers! Then, they entered my old home and we did a quick walk through and they noted that I had a mirror still installed on the wall and had many items left unpacked (only because I did not order enough boxes for my initial moving day), so they provided me with extra boxes/wardrobes so that I could finish up. They brought up their own tools (again, so prepared) uninstalled the mirror and carefully took it apart and wrapped every piece (except boxes) so thoroughly and moved every item carefully out to the truck, which they never left open and unlocked while making runs back and forth. The move into the new place was even smoother... unbelievable! We brought them pop to drink and they said that they were very thankful but would take the drink only at the very end of the move after they were finished everything, so I wouldn't be charged for any break time! I cannot stand moving, but Reliable Moving made it so easy 🙂 - definitely calling them if I have to move again!

I moved from rmd to Seattle, these guys did an excellent job loading uhaul. I had a bunch of fragile items, they helped pack to make sure they are safe during the long drive. They also arranged my boxes well so that they won’t shift in the truck during the drive without tie down. They are very detailed and fast! They care about my apartment during moving to make sure there is not even one mark left. I’m very much happy and impressed. Definitely a 5 star!

I used Reliable Moving to move my parents (86 and 87 years old) from Ladner to Vancouver and their service was exceptional!!! I highly recommend them as a moving company. They took great care of my parents treasured possessions by wrapping all their furniture so they would not get damaged, even stuff that I did not think needed to be wrapped. I could tell that Care of their clients belonging was very important to them along with Safety and Security of their truck. I did not think we needed 3 people to move us but boy was I wrong. One person wrapped the furniture, one person loaded the elevator and one person loaded the truck and kept it secure. Alston the owner not only was accurate in his assessment of how long it would take but they were on time and worked very hard so that we could get through the tunnel prior to it switching over. He was super responsive, and took careful stock of the job before giving us a quote; it wasn't the lowest quote we got, but it was worth every penny! He offered full service throughout the moving process, including making several trips to provide us with packing supplies. He and his team planned every step of the move to make sure that it went smoothly, and when there were hiccups (a too-small elevator at the new building), they put in Herculean effort to get the job done, disassembling a bookcase in the lobby and hauling a wardrobe up the stairs. You can find cheaper movers, but you won't find a team that works as hard to get the job done well and ensures that things are as easy and stress-free as possible!

My girlfriend and I recently used RELIABLE MOVING for our 2 home, combination move. It was her third time contracting this company and it was my first. Owner, Alston Ke met me in advance to assess our requirements and provide a quote. Then the day before the move he came to dismantle and pre-wrap the large furniture items. He also ordered a box system for me, for packing. This was a move that might of scared away some people, but not Reliable. On the day of our move, Alston Ke and his team of guys arrived on time. Starting downtown they had to deal with 2 long flights of stairs to street level, no elevator to help. They had a large, heavy glass and metal dining table, along with many other items in my large home to contend with. Packed up, they then headed to my girlfriends’ condo in the burbs. Thankfully there was an elevator this time, but yet more disassembly and many large pieces. Alston packed and tied everything down, skillfully, like a Rockstar! Then off we went again, to our new house together. Everything came in smoothly and they placed things where we wanted and set everything up. There was no damage. The guys were strong, quick, friendly and very professional. We even bought and had lunch with them and shared good conversation. Without hesitation I would recommend Reliable Moving Ltd., to take care of you during what could be a stressful day. They’re awesome.

He did not scope out the complex we were moving to as thoroughly as he probably wished he had because there was a lot more back and forth from the truck to the building front door.He had quoted a flat rate for the job and admitted that they were losing time at our new home but accepted that that was his responsibility not ours. They hustled to get things done and never once tried to say they needed more money from us.
